About The Ecotone Farm Team

Ecotone Farm is located in the beautiful countryside community of Fellsmere, Florida at the northern range of South Florida. Jerry and Tamara Renick have put a lifetime of experience into creating their farm, beginning in the fall of 2012 with one greenhouse for hydroponic lettuce and leafy green production. Over the last few years, it has evolved to where we now produce over 20,000 units of hydroponic lettuce in our climate-controlled greenhouses and shade houses. In addition, Ecotone Farm has expanded into the production of several other varieties of fresh and local produce such as greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers, shade house peppers, and several varieties of crops.
We at Ecotone Farm have listened to our customer’s requests and continue to expand production and varieties in order to keep it fresh and local.
Our refrigerated van allows Ecotone Farm to deliver our produce to local restaurants, country clubs, grocers, CSA customers, and others while keeping it fresh and helping to extend our product’s shelf life.
In the fall of 2018, we opened our farm stand to provide our community access to our fresh and local produce. It has been a tremendous success, and as a result, we have relocated our farm stand to the south side of our large barn that provides plenty of parking and access for our customers.
We now sell a full line of fresh and local produce, homemade products from our produce, as well as landscape and garden plants, especially native plants. Come visit us each Saturday from 8 am until 1 pm.
