Typically, this time of year (late July to early August) marks the end of the growing season at Ecotone Farm. Our climate controlled greenhouses allow us to grow our beautiful and delicious hydroponic lettuce and leafy greens well into the summer months. This year, the late spring and early summer months have been exceedingly hot but we have been able to continue to provide our lettuce and leafy greens produce to our clients and for our Saturday farm market. However, it is that time once again where we will be shutting down for the remainder of this summer season and complete our summer time cleanup and get ready for the fall which is right around the corner.

Ecotone Farm continues to expand and diversity our production, as we have been introducing other crops this year including varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, pumpkins, herbs, and so much more. We have also added a great line of products made from our farm fresh produce including jellies, jams, salad dressing, dried pepper seeds, and so much more. We are excited about the coming season as we have a lot more planned and currently under construction.
We are preparing for a big celebration for our Grand Reopening this fall which will coincide with the start of our fall farm market season as well. We will be posting on our blog and Facebook page to keep everyone up to date. Please keep in touch and lets get ready for a great new season at Ecotone Farm!
