Well it is the end of our growing season even in the climate controlled greenhouses (CCGH). The heat and humidity is just too high to continue to produce the quality of lettuce, herbs, and leafy greens we love to grow and our customers enjoy. Therefore, we have entered the clean-up mode in our CCGH which includes cleaning out the tanks, cleaning the interior of the structure, and tuning and cleaning the exhaust fans. Due to our CCGH’s we are able to produce our crops almost all year round! 
Come the first week of September, we will begin the process of seeding for a mid-September planting of the tanks and the start of another great and exciting season. We have a lot of new and exciting products and events for this season. Aside from enhancing our leafy green production to include more herbs and microgreens, Ecotone Farm is now growing tomatoes, peppers, and a couple other specialty crops we will let you know about soon.
