Ecotone Farm was among several members that showcased their produce, products, and services at the April 17, 2018 Localecopia event at The Breakers Palm Beach. The intent of this event and the Localecopia organization is to promote local farming produce and incorporate sustainable practices to reduce environmental footprint. Ecotone Farm shares these same beliefs and is proud to be a member and participate in these events.
Among the various businesses that participated included farmers, produce wholesalers, chefs, restaurants, and other local food supporting industries. Ecotone Farm showcased it’s hydroponic lettuce varieties including Bibb, red oak leaf, green oak leaf, romaine, and red lola rosa. Jerry and Tamara Renick work hard to continue to support local farming, environmentally sustainable business practices, and the healthy food industry.
